Max Is Ready For Kwinana

Max Dumesny is primed and ready for this weekend’s Wanless World Series Sprintcars action at the Perth Motorplex for the second round of the 2008 Championship, and he’ll be hoping he’ll be the second Dumesny in as many rounds to score a main event win.

Following in the footsteps of son Mitchell’s historic and spectacular victory for the opening round at PCR last weekend, Max would love nothing more than a win at Kwinana to vault him up the standings from his current third place points position in the series proper.

Dumesny’s track record at the Motorplex is, like most places he races, very stout.

There’s no doubt the Valvoline / GKR Transport #5 Maxim gets a full head of steam around ‘the Plex’ whenever Max is out West.

It’s also ‘home base’ for long time sponsor, supporter and mate Kevin “Smally” Small from GKR Transport – so a Perth trip is always a fun trip for Dumesny.

This weekend sees Max contests two nights of competition as the Wanless World Series Sprintcars Championship touches down at Kwinana.

The Valvoline / GKR Team know that some valuable points can be found in WA so the idea of scoring victory at Kwinana is high on the priority list.
