Max And Christine Head For World Series Scene

Max Dumesny and his trusty Maxim “Christine” are headed to the opening round of World Series Sprintcars this Saturday night at Archerfield Speedway with some excellent form in the build up to the 2008/2009 affair.

Fresh from a strong win at the Sprintcar Masters in Adelaide last weekend, Dumesny and crew chief Mouse Green have the Valvoline / GKR Transport #5 Maxim in great form.

“Things are going well,” concedes the always matter of fact Dumesny, “we’ve got good car speed so far this season and I’m optimistic about our chances this weekend.”

Dumesny begins his assault on this year’s WSS crown with an attempt at a record 8 Championship wins.

“I think we have as much chance as anyone to win this deal,” admits Max, “we always go well at Archerfield and I think that our car this year responds well to all our changes.”

So far the Dumesny trophy cabinet in 2008/2009 boasts the Sprintcar Masters at Speedway City in SA and the NSW Sprintcar Championship at Parramatta City Raceway – both venues he will compete at in the next couple of weeks.
